China’s SANY introduces advanced excavator for tough terrains

SANY 16SANY, Chinese multinational heavy machinery manufacturing company, has launched a new advanced excavator model SY50U, aiming to cover a wider range of working conditions than the previous models SY16C and SY35U

According to the company, the new SY50U is designed to meet higher requirements in urban construction, agricultural application, landscaping etc. “SY50U's zero tail swing radius and independent boom swing allow its operation in extremely confined spaces. Its maximum right boom swing distance is 710 millimetre, while the left one is 745 millimetre,” said Tan Xin, a designer of SY50U.

SY50U adopts eco-friendly tier four engine, advanced SLSS hydraulic system, optimal power control and work mode selection, which focus on improving speed and power while reducing fuel consumption.

A data based on field trial shows that SY50U reduces fuel consumption by 15 per cent and improves efficiency by 14.2 per cent.

Giving a high appraisal to SANY SY50U after applying the machine in the construction project, Bob, a client in Australia, commented, “SY50U saves more fuel and generates more efficiency.”

The new machine is designed with automatic preheating by an engine in order to operate in low-temperature working conditions, said SANY.

The excavator is equipped with a large engine hood, which enables the operator to complete daily maintenance on the ground. The machine's centralised inner structure that integrates all important parts gathered in the back of the excavator including air filter, oil filter, water separator, oil dipstick, expansion tank and oil filling mouth, highly reduces maintenance difficulty.

Commenting on the comfort of use, John, an American client who purchased SY50U for farm renovation, said that the machine has larger seat and air conditioner which make him very comfortable to operate even in a hot day.

SANY said that the advanced excavator SY50U is available in the US, Europe and Australia, expecting to bring more convenience and high efficiency to clients in these regions.
