German machinery manufacturer Sennebogen has released the next generation of its 723 compact material handler
The latest model, for use in timber handling, comes equipped with a 119 kW Tier 4-compliant diesel engine, reduced fuel consumption and a mobile undercarriage that has been redesigned for durability.
With a two-stage all-wheel travel drive and 11 metres equipment length, the manufacturer said the new machine is well-suited to working in smaller saw mills and timber processing companies, particularly given its compact dimensions of 3 metres x 2.52 metres x 10 metres.
Sennebogen were also keen to point out that “special attention was paid to the safety features of the machine during design and development”.
The new 723 has a newly-designed access ladder, a peripheral uppercarriage railing and extensive step grids ensure maximum safety, as well as a full protective grating installed on the cab as standard, which can be supplemented with an armoured glass pane.
Sennebogen’s latest timber handler is expected to be available via the company’s local distributor network from autumn 2015.
