Portwest announces clothing collaboration with JCB

Workwear supplier Portwest has announced a new collaboration with UK-based construction machinery manufacturer JCB

Portwest has become JCB's licensing partner for the production of a range of JCB-branded clothing, workwear, safety footwear and personal protective equipment (PPE). 

"Portwest and JCB are really excited with this collaboration," said Stevie Walsh of Portwest. "It brings together two companies that are leaders in their respective fields.

"Real synergies can be developed by drawing on the strengths of both companies and opening up new markets for the JCB Consumer Products division."

Portwest, who has been designing and manufacturing workwear for more than a century, said the new JCB workwear collection was designed and manufactured using the finest materials and components.

"Like JCB construction machinery, JCB workwear is reliable, safe and performs in even the toughest conditions," Walsh added.

Stock and samples have now been made available and Portwest has said it was actively looking for distributors and retailers across Africa to work with on promoting its latest range of JCB-branded workwear.
