AGCO, a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of agricultural equipment is our supplier of choice in Nigeria with Valtra and Challenger.

These agricultural product lines fit seamlessly with our overall market strategy, go-to-market industry segmentation strategy and operating strategy. Therefore, we are delighted to announce that we have added Massey Ferguson to our agricultural equipment offering through the acquisition of FMD, and the concurrent appointment as the Challenger distributor in East Africa. FMD is also the distributor of innovative implements such as Baldan soil equipment and Jacto spraying machinery. FMD East Africa is a leading farm machinery distributor who was awarded the AGCO distributor of the Year for Africa & Middle East in 2015. Therefore AGCO products are perfectly suited to Panafrican’s strategy of targeting the rapidly growing agriculture market across Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.

Furthermore, with the acquisition of FMD, Panafrican is now be a complete solution provider to framers, plantation owners and contractors that range from land clearing, brush and tree removal, mulching, site and camp preparation, access road construction and maintenance, soil preparation, planting, spraying, haulage, harvesting, and general maintenance to the fruit, sugar, rubber, tea, cassava, rice, and oil palm industries, among others. From fleet selection and sale based upon conditions, to specialty attachments and fit for purpose implements to improve productivity, life cycle costing, parts supply, warehouse management, maintenance planning and dedicated site support, we can tailor the offering to meet the requirements of these markets.
