RF Design and nanotron Technologies in mine safety deal

German real-time locating system developer, nanotron Technologies, has ventured into the lucrative South African mining industry with South African radio frequency distribution specialist, RF Design, to build mining safety solutions

The company has various global providers of safety equipment to mine operators among its customers in South Africa.

Clients of nanotron Technologies use the company's innovative CSS technology to prevent heavy mining machinery collisions with people or assets, ensuring improved mining safety.

“We see great potential for our technology in various upcoming African markets. nanotron is impressed with RF Design’s professional team, whose close ties to mining community customers provide a network of industry clients," said nanotron Technologies' South Africa chief executive officer, Jens Albers.
