Machinery distributer Mantrac has introduced the F-Series backhoe loaders for Tanzanian construction companies

The company has claimed that the new machinery would assist in boosting efficiency and productivity for construction companies in the country.

Mantrac-Tanzania managing director Fred Aryeetey said during a seminar for machine operators, “The loaders would improve performance in the construction sector, which is currently among the pillars of the country’s development, with significant contribution to the economy.

“These machines are not exclusive for construction companies and they will also be useful to other productive sectors. The idea is to support growth of other productive sectors, including construction-related activities,” he added.

Mantrac had organised the meeting to expose machine operators to the basic rules of how to operator the new loaders.

“Mantrac aims to supplement government efforts to enhance performance of development sectors, by introducing cost-effective machines like these backhoe loaders,” said Aryeetey.

Mantrac-Africa sales manager Mark Mulligan described Africa as having more potential and being a faster-growing market than other parts of the world.

Mulligan noted, “African market needs machines which could do the job and faster... and that is the spirit behind Mantrac’s introduction of these new machines.”
