The 21 tonne class model, which has been designed to consume 25 per cent less fuel than a traditional excavator, works on the principle of swing energy regeneration and energy storage.
Three other new machines will also be presented to the public for the first time: the WA320-7 and WA470-7 wheeled loaders, and the PC138US-10 excavator.
Other machines on display will include the HD785-7 rigid dump truck, the WA380-7 and WA500-7 wheeled loaders, the five tonne class PC55MR-3 mini excavator and the 12 tonne class PW118MR-8 wheeled excavator.
