This year’s edition of the trade fair bauma will exhibit a number of small but important innovations in the world of construction machinery, vehicles, equipment and components
The trade show which will take place between 11-17 April 2016 at the Messe München exhibition center in Munich will cover industrial advancements in the sectors mentioned, while also bringing to light the smaller, individual but important innovations.
Tool manufacturer Hilti has come up with a cloud-based software system called ON!Track that ensures centralised and synchronous storage of data procured from an RFID-barcode scanner, which tags and uniquely identifies assets regardless of manufacturer.
MAN will be premiering its new app DriverConnect, aimed at optimising the connection between driver and dispatcher. Woma GmbH will be presenting a new fully integrated system for transporting and operating high-pressure units delivering up to 3000 bar.
Also exhibiting at the show, ThyssenKrupp Infrastructure has developed a new pipe-laying tool in order to improve handling of large pipes with a diameter of DN 1200 to DN 2200. Zandt Cargo, on the other hand, is offering a real ‘analog’ solution in the shape of its new low-bed trailer.
Other manufacturers expected at bauma include driveline and chassis technology specialist ZF, which has launched cPOWER, a continuously variable transmission technology - while Putzmeister will be showcasing the next generation of its truck mixer concrete pumps.
These are just a few of the many innovative products to be showcased at the upcoming show which is expecting to host more than 3000 exhibitors this year.
