First Grove GRT9165 sale in Africa

Mining giant Newmont Ghana Gold has received a delivery of a Grove GRT9165 rough-terrain crane for work on the Ahafo Gold Mine

Paterson Simons, a market-leading equipment supplies across West and Central Africa and a representative of Grove mobile cranes and Manitowoc crawler cranes, has sold the first Grove GRT9165 (the largest rough-terrain crane from Grove) in Africa. Long time Grove dealer Paterson Simons crane Newmont Minnig

Nemont’s three-axle, 150 t capacity landmark purchase features an industry-leading 62.5 m boom and class-leading load charts and includes the Crane Control System (CCS) for maximum productivity, an expanded panoramic cab for improve visibility, and reduced transport height. It will be put to work on the Ahafo North expansion project on the mine and will join several other Manitowoc products in Ghana at work for the company.

Indeed, Paterson Simons received two awards from Manitowoc for its service. The first, for the sale of the first GRT9165 in Africa. The second was conferred for the long-standing partnership that the two share.
