NextSource completes processing plant at Molo Graphite Mine

NextSource Materials, has completed the construction of the processing plant and the mining camp for the Molo Graphite Mine in Madagascar 

With the entire mining fleet now onsite, president and CEO of NextSource Materials, Craig Scherba, explained that they are now entering the final stages of development of Phase 1 and are fast approaching first production. Electrical interconnections between the plant modules are in progress, which will be followed by commissioning and the start of mining activities. 

Phase 1 of the Molo Graphite Mine is designed to process 240,000 tonnes per annum of ore resulting in a name plate production capacity of 17,000 tonnes per annum of flake graphite. The project in Madagascar is one of the largest known and highest-quality project globally and the only one with SuperFlake graphite, between 97% and 98% carbon purity with simple flotation alone.
