Green Technology Solutions is preparing to explore gold, diamond and rare earth deposits in the nearby Department of Niari, the Republic of Congo
The news follows the signing of a new option agreement with Hampden Pait Holdings Ltd. (HPH) to undertake extensive infrastructure and economic development projects in the country. HPH holds the right to develop mining and exploration projects within the African nation’s Department of Pool, Department of Niari and other territories. GTSO is now conducting a due diligence review of HPH and its mining prospects in the departments of both Pool and Niari.
“We jumped at the chance to potentially explore new mineral deposits in the Department of Pool, and we’re jumping on the same opportunity now in the Department of Niari,” said GTSO President and CEO John Shearer.
“The mineral-rich Republic of Congo is undoubtedly a new frontier in the search for valuable mineral resources such as rare earth, gold and diamonds, and GTSO is extremely excited by the prospect of working with HPH and the local governments there to develop those resources.”
