Grieve introduces 500°F electric belt conveyor oven

Grieve has introduced No 892, a 500°F electrically-heated belt conveyor, which is currently used for curing sealant on filters at the customer’s facility

The workspace dimensions of this oven measure 18 x 32 x 26, with 36KW being installed in Nichrome wire heating elements, said the company.

The 1500 CFM along with 11/2-HP re-circulating blower aim to provide vertical downward airflow to the workload.

This Grieve belt conveyor oven has an 18” long open belt loading zone and a 24” long open unloading zone. The features include a 12” long insulated, unheated entrance vestibule and 32” long insulated heat zone with re-circulated airflow and 12” long insulated, unheated exit vestibule.

Some of the additional features include 12” wide, 1” x 1” stainless steel flat wire conveyor belt with 1/4-HP motor drive, variable from 0.6 to 11.7 inches per minute, 4” insulated walls and aluminised steel interior and exterior.

The oven also has an integral leg stand with casters, said the company.

Since 1949, Grieve has been in business to design and manufacture industrial ovens and furnaces. With CAD, CAM, CAE design equipment, the company aims to make the ovens and furnaces which are compatible for industry.

The company further noted that all the products have been fully tested before shipping to the customers.
