Doosan Bobcat EMEA has stated that it met with great success at the Bauma 2016 exhibition in Munich, Germany, with more than 150 machines sold at the stand and a huge number of sales leads generated
According to the company, more than 100 Bobcat compact loaders, compact excavators and telehandlers were sold at the stand during Bauma. The E17, E19 and E20 1-2 tonne compact excavators as well as the prototype of the new E10 electrically powered one-tonne micro-excavator, which was presented for the first time at the exhibition, garnered most attention.
The demonstration of the E10 electric excavator proved to be a big draw at the stand, which also had on display the new Bobcat Stage IV engine for the company’s rigid frame telehandlers and a wide array of Bobcat attachments, including the new sand cleaner.
Apart from this, new products in the Doosan Heavy machines range, which included five new wheeled excavators, two new crawler excavators and two new wheel loaders, were also on display. Forty Doosan machine, including all sizes of equipment and both tracked and wheeled excavators, wheel loaders and articulated dump trucks, were sold at the stand, the company states.
The stand also witnessed a significant number of sales and enquiries for compressors, generators and lighting systems in the Doosan Portable Power range, which included the new Doosan G400-IIIA and G500-IIIA Stage IIIA compliant generators.
The Doosan Bobcat stand also attracted a lot of interest from the international trade press, with over 120 face-to-face interviews conducted at the stand.
