Abuja community gets grant for Grassroots Human Security Project

The construction project of PHC clinic in Abuja Municipal Area council has been completed and handed over to the administration, as announced by the Embassy of Japan

A total amount of US$82,096 is to be granted to provide medical service for 47,000 community residents in Abuja.

Mankind Development & Rehabilitation Organisation are the implementing partners for this project.

A solar-powered borehole, which was installed on the clinic’s premises, was handed over by the ambassador of Switzerland.

The PHC consists of two consulting rooms, a labour room, a delivery room, a pharmacy, wards for male and female, a record room, a nurse station, toilets and the provision of medical equipment and furniture.
