World Bank forecasts 3.2 per cent GDP growth in Sub Saharan Africa in 2018

Real GDP Growth - Annual estimates and forecasts.

The World Bank annual forecasts predict a 3.2 per cent growth across Africa south of the Sahara.

This is an improvement on the estimated growth for 2017 of 2.4%.  However, the region's two largest economies, Nigeria and South Africa are expected to be among the poorer performers with growth rates of 2.5 per cent and 1.1 per cent respectively.
