Canon has announced the launch of the new Arizona 2200 series of UV flatbed printers at drupa 2016, taking place at Messe Dusseldorf, Dusseldorf, Germany between 31 May –10 June 2016
Following the successful launch of the Oce Arizona 1200 series in early 2016, Canon stated that the new product is an enhanced solution for print service providers who need to increase their production capacity, expand their range of applications and meet tight deadlines.
The firm will also showcase a wide range of products at the show across toner, continuous and sheetfed inkjet, wide format and workflow. Other new product launches for Canon at drupa are the imagePRESS C8000VP toner production press, Oce ColorStream 6000 Chroma continuous inkjet and VarioPrint i300 cutsheet inkjet press ColorGrip version.
In addition to the new product launches, it will be Canon’s first public showing of the imagePRESS C10000VP toner production press, the “Voyager“– Prototype B2+ Inkjet Photo Press and the Oce imageStream 2400 continuous inkjet press.
Canon's 4,200 sqm stand will also showcase its new workflow products – colour control suite TrueProof v 5.0 and ProJet 660Pro, 2500, 5500X 3D printers.
This year, Canon’s campaign theme at drupa is #UNLEASHPRINT, which combines Canon’s passion for print and the company’s untapped potential.
According to Canon, the firm is guided by three core principles to help it in supporting its print customers to unlock the potential of their business. Firstly, Canon said it combines innovative thinking with state–of–the–art technology "to bring bold, personal and dynamic ideas to life." Secondly, Canon noted that it constantly challenges itself to successfully meet customers’ expectations. Lastly, the firm aims to inspire its customers by creating more value in their work, while capitalising on new revenue streams.
"The opportunity for mid-volume PSPs to grow and diversify is enormous. But in order to do this successfully, they must offer speed and efficiency alongside print quality, as the demands of consumers are constantly evolving. The Oce Arizona 2200 series provides a flexible and scalable solution with decreased delivery times and high-quality printing and finishing on a diverse range of materials. We believe this will empower PSPs to maximise their offering and work to deliver a range of superb products, quickly and cost-effectively," said Matthew Faulkner, European marketing manager for Wide Format Print Group, Canon Europe.
The Canon stand is located in Hall 8A, Stand B50.
