Prism Sound, which manufactures the SADiE craft editor, sponsored the Commonwealth Broadcasting Association conference ‘CBA: Live in Nairobi’ in Kenya, which took place late in June
The conference formed part of the ‘Digital East Africa’ project and was hosted by the CBA at the Kenya National Museum in Nairobi.
In addition to sponsoring the event, SADiE sent Peter Nash and Peter Leslie Wild, two highly experienced BBC programme makers, to speak and present at the event.
Both Peters presented creative workshops in drama production, feature and documentary making for radio and podcasting.
Peter Nash is managing director of his own independent production company ‘ Monty Funk Productions ’, and has been a high-end features maker for BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio 3 since the mid 1990s.
Peter Leslie Wild has been a senior producer for BBC Radio Drama for 16 years, winning a number of awards, and recently went freelance. He is also well-known for large-scale theatre productions, his training workshops at British universities and is now involved in a variety of podcasting projects. Both have worked together extensively for both BBC projects and theatre productions, and are renowned specialists for producing drama documentaries.
