A delegation of businesspeople from South Africa will meet their counterparts in Ghana to learn about business opportunities in Ghana and other parts of West Africa as part of an event organised by the Department of Trade and Industry
Lulama Xingwana , the high commissioner of South Africa in Ghana, said in a separate statement that South Africa and Ghana should strengthen bilateral economic relations and promote intra-Africa trade.
“This is the first time that my company is participating in a mission in West Africa and I am excited about the possibilities and opportunities that may arise out of this mission,” said Lucky Mashavha, project manager of Tshete QS and Engineering Consultants.
Ghana's economy has emerged as one among the fastest growing economies in the world in recent years, boosted by offshore oil production and fiscal consolidation policies.
