Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI), Lome-based parent company of the Ecobank Group, has announced three new appointments for the region
Paul-Harry Aithnard has joined as the managing director of Ecobank Côte d’Ivoire and regional executive, UEMOA. Yves Mayilamene is the new group executive, human resources and Josephine Anan-Ankomah is the new group executive, commercial banking.
Aithnard’s appointment was effected following an internal recruitment process initiated to replace Charles Daboiko, current managing director of Ecobank Côte d’Ivoire and regional executive of UEMOA, who will be retiring from the bank in November 2018.
With 20 years working experience, Aithnard joined Ecobank Transnational Incorporated in 2008 as group head research. Prior to joining Ecobank, he was global head commodities, co-head global macro investment advisory in BBSP Investment Advisory, Paris-London. He also worked as general manager, deputy managing director, BBSP Investment Advisory, Montreal-New York and lecturer at HEC Business School of Montreal.
Yves Mayilamene, prior to this appointment, was the deputy group head of human resources and head of human resources for Ecobank Nigeria.
Mayilamene joined Ecobank in 2012 with more than 15 years of experience covering all aspects of human resources in Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa. He was associated with British American Tobacco (BAT) and held different senior HR positions there in Congo, Switzerland, Senegal and Kenya.
Josephine Anan-Ankomah, prior to this appointment, was the managing director of Ecobank Gambia.
With more than 25 years of experience within Ecobank, Anan-Ankomah has held various senior positions within the bank such as regional treasurer in several affiliates of the group, chief operating officer at regional level, head of corporate strategy and business development and deputy head - investment banking group (Ecobank Ghana).
