Bunna International Bank has chosen the Finacle core banking solution from Infosys in a bid to provide better services and enhance the overall banking experience for its clients
Finacle provides a solution for the bank to integrate its front and back office operations and using a loan orgination system.
Bunna International Bank plans to extend its network to 35 branches within the financial year.

“Finacle gives us the flexibility we need to grow. This new solution, which will be implemented in a relatively short period, is the key to helping us become far and away the best bank in Ethiopia.”
The bank’s decision for selecting Finacle coincides with the National Bank of Ethiopia calling for member banks to automate their services.
Part of the mandate by the National Bank of Ethiopa states that a National Payment System is necessary to facilitate automated settlements and inter-bank money transfers.
