The Canada-Africa Chamber of Business and Mine Africa are hosting four programmes at this years PDAC International Convention, Trade Show and Investors Exchange, held 5-8 March at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Canada
The four programmes, which take place at the largest African mining event in North America and the biggest mining investment show in the world, shows the increased interest in the African continent from major investors.
PDAC is the world's largest convention for people, companies and organisations in, or around the mineral exploration sector.
On 7 March at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, a sold-out breakfast and seminar on African mining will take place. The 18th African Mining Breakfast and 15th Investing in African Mining Seminar will feature overviews and presentions from African Mining Ministers, mining companies, expert advisors and service providers.
In addition, MineAfrica are hosted exhibiting booth at the PDAC Trade Show throughout the course of the show are the Metro Toronto COnvention Centre South Building.
The 7th Panel Discussion on Africa's Mining Industry will take place at the Radisson Hotel Admiral Toronto - Habourfront. Representatives from the South African law firm Webber Wentzel, along with senior industry executives and African Mining Ministers will take part in an interactive discussion on the opening day of PDAC 2017.
Also taking place at the Radisson Hotel are a number of MasterMining courses and workshops. Before PDAC 2017 starts, on 2 - 4 March, Understanding the Mining Industry from A to Z shall take place and two further workshops on International Security for Miners and Travel and Occupational Health will run on 8 March.
These events show the investment opportunities that there are across the African continent. After some difficulties in 2015 and 2016, it is important that mining and investment opportunities are displayed to their full potential.
