From 12 - 14 September 2017, the Johannesburg Expo Centre will once again be the meeting point for the African environmental industry
IFAT Africa, the Trade Fair for Water, Sewage, Refuse and Recycling, being held for the second time, has gained more international appeal: Around 65 per cent of the exhibitors are from abroad
Katharina Schlegel, Project Director of the IFAT international trade fairs at Messe München, explains: “Alongside African exhibitors, a large number of European companies will also be represented. We are especially pleased to have gained seven new countries this year.” Among the new exhibitors are companies from Austria, Botswana, France, Ghana, Kenya, Spain and Turkey. All in all, more than 140 exhibitors are taking part on an exhibition area of around 5,000 square meters.
Numerous delegations highlight the importance of IFAT Africa beyond the borders of South Africa. Visitor delegations from China, Ghana, Italy, Mozambique, and Zambia are expected, as well as a delegation from Sub-Saharan Africa, which the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is organising for its alumni network.
