Solutions provider Intertek has opened a state-of-the-art Transformer Oil (TFO) testing laboratory in South Africa
Serving clients in sub-Saharan Africa and also worldwide, the Intertek TFO Laboratory provides testing to local and international methods and standards, as well as trending reports that quickly indicate any changes in the condition of the transformer.
The company said that a complete range of tests is available, from the simple moisture/acid/dielectric strength right up to interfacial tension evaluation.
Customers can select individual tests to suit their needs or make use of cost-effective test packages for the most common combinations of tests.
