Trina Solar, a global PV and smart energy total solutions provider, has launched the Vertex N 595W for C&I and utility-scale projects
The new addition joins Trina Solar’s n-type module portfolio which is based on the leading 210 product technology platform and n-type i-TOPCon cell technology.
Antonio Jimenez, managing director and vice president, Middle East, Trina Solar, commented, “Bringing the latest Vertex Modules to the Middle East and Africa region comes as part of our ongoing commitment to introduce the latest technologies and innovative products and solutions to its clients here. We are confident that the Vertex N 595W modules will not only revolutionise the industry, but also set new standards and benchmarks that are yet to be matched.”
The newly announced Vertex N module boasts maximum power output of 595 W, which is 30 W higher than conventional n-type modules in the market. In addition, this dual-glass module increases bifaciality to 80% and delivers higher efficiency, lower degradation and better energy yield. The Vertex N 595W modules adopt the latest 210 product platform +i-TOPCon technology and are highly compatible with trackers, offering more feasibility to utility-scale projects in the most complex of terrain.
In addition to Vertex N 595W modules, Trina Solar is offering Vertex N 690W and Vertex S+ 445W modules with i-TOPCon technology for utility and rooftop segments.
The new generation of Vertex N modules will be in mass production by the end of 2022 and more than 10 GW n-type modules capacity is expected to release by the first quarter of 2023. Moreover, capacity of n-type modules will reach 20 GW to 30 GW by the end of next year.
