As most business owners know, growth is hard, it takes a lot of work and careful management to grow a business

Welland Power has succeeded in being included in the Sunday Times Export Track 100.

This list, which includes some huge names is designed to showcase the leading private companies in the UK. Export can be a particularly challenging area of expansion, with competition tough and exporters around the world competing for the same markets, often from a lower cost base.

Given the tough world markets, exporting almost 1400 diesel generators last year from 10-2500kVA and some smaller inverter generators, Welland Power has achieved what many may wish to emulate.

Inverter generators are generally smaller machines that produce better quality power. The MD Charlie Farrow when asked how the growth was possible replied “Growth is only possible with the help of your team, your suppliers and customers.

Investment in new technology and running the business in the interests of everyone is important. Above all, honesty and integrity with all the people you deal with is key to building a brand that everyone can believe in.”
