Himoinsa has signed an agreement with Matforce Mali to improve delivery times and quicken the supply of spare parts and technicians

In Mali, a power supply crisis is always a matter of days away. This is not in the traditional sense of the coal mining industry, but also the power to run the telecommunication networks, businesses and construction sectors.

Matforce are a leading company in the energy industry, which opened its subsidery in Mali in 2009, and has over 30 years in the power generation sector.

Frederic Maguer, Himoinsa regional sales manager, has said that  the new distribution agreement with HIMOINSA will, “strengthen the position of both companies in the country and guarantee a high-quality product, as well as fast, highly qualified service to our customers”.

“We chose Himoinsa mainly for the quality of its generator sets, its innovative technology and its wide range”, states Ndakhte Mboup, director of Matforce Mali. “The genset design, the good value for money and the technical support they offer as a manufacturer, have also weighed on our choice”.

The first generator sets with a capacity between 13 and 120 kVA, intended for business and housing applications have already been delivered. Recently, nearly twenty technicians from the new Himoinsa distributor in Mali have received on site specialised training in the use, maintenance and repair of all their equipment. This training and the spare parts local stock guarantee a high quality service to the clients.
