Projex Africa and MS Marmomacc + Samoter Africa will take place at the Cairo International Convention Centre (CICC) in Cairo, Egypt between 10-13 December 2016
The two events will be organised by Veronafiere, the leading direct organiser of exhibitions in Italy, together with Art Line, Egyptian trade fairs organiser, and ExpoLink, the Egyptian Exporters Association.
Projex Africa, at its second edition, will focus on solutions and materials for the building sector, while also highlighting developments in green building and promoting sustainability in the sector. MS Africa, now at its third edition, will have a focus on marble, natural stone and construction machinery and will bring Marmomacc and Samoter - Veronafiere's two best known brands in the construction sector - to the African markets.
Exhibitors from Egypt, Italy, India, China, Turkey, Brazil are expected to meet qualified buyers from Africa and Middle East (Algeria, Kenya, KSA, Nigeria, South Africa, Tunisia, UAE) through the International Buyers Programme. The last edition of the two shows welcomed 92 exhibitors from 12 countries and more than 3000 trade visitors; official delegation from 27 countries visited Projex Africa/MS Africa 2015.
Egypt currently has a number of infrastructure projects underway and the two events will serve as a platform to bring together companies in the construction sector. As part of President’s Al-Asis’s plan to boost Egypt’s economy, the government is working on a housing scheme, which is expected to see 650,000 new homes being built over the new two and a half years. Over the next three years, the country will see the completion of all the infrastructures needed for the project.
