TippingPoint, a division of 3Com offering network security solutions, has announced significant market growth in the Middle East in 2009.

In particular, the company has gained several significant customer wins in the financial and service provider sector. This growth has been fuelled by a direct need for network security solutions in the region and TippingPoint’s expanded sales and partner presence.
In the last year, TippingPoint has added a number of very large service provider and banking customers. Critical wins have included Banque Saudi Fransi, Showtime Arabia, Telecom Egypt and Qatar Islamic Bank. As a result of this broad range of enterprise customers, Arab Computer Network (ACN) recently recognized TippingPoint as the 'Enterprise Security Vendor of the Year' for its 2009 Arab Technology Awards. These awards recognize those IT professionals and organizations that are making technology work - delivering on the promise of bringing real value to the business using IT.
