The 2010/11 – 2014/15 was formulated by the National Planning Authority (NPA), which is the first of six five-year national development strategies according to the NRM government, is focused towards transforming the economy within the next 30 years.
Museveni said the government will invest heavily in priority sectors that include energy infrastructure, water transport , manufacturing sector, transportation, oil and gas infrastructure, ICT infrastructure, tourism, trade, agriculture and human resource development.
