Sustainability leader expands consultancy reach in Africa

 

Bas Kothuisa, a recognised sustainability leader and consultant to private business and government clients for more than 25 years has joined the Global Corporate Consultancy (GCC) of Delta Consultants, an Oranjewoud company as an Associate.

Bas Kothuisa, a recognised sustainability leader and consultant to private business and government clients for more than 25 years has joined the Global Corporate Consultancy (GCC) of Delta Consultants, an Oranjewoud company as an Associate.

Mr. Kothuis, who is based in Cape Town, South Africa, has experience in sustainable business, cleaner production, water stewardship, energy management and corporate social responsibility initiatives.

“Bas offers clients unique insight and expertise into sustainability challenges faced by operations in Africa,” says John Platko, GCC Managing Partner. “His addition to our team further demonstrates our commitment to serve clients in all corners of the globe.”

Mr. Kothuis’ clients have included The Coca-Cola Company, SABMiller, British American Tobacco, Nike and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization. He was the founder of BECO-Institute for Sustainable Business in Cape Town.
