AfrAsia Kingdom Zimbabwe has launched the implementation of a system that will upgrade the group’s core banking to Globus R10
AfrAsia has extended its appreciation to its clients for their patience, after the bank temporarily closed all its branches last Saturday, and temporarily disconnected ATMs and point-of-sale machines.
“All channels are now available and the system upgrade will continue until the completion stage is reached to provide world-class service to clients,” the company said in a statement.
Commenting on the new system implementation, AfrAsia chief executive officer Lynn Mukonoweshuro said the implementation of the more advanced Globus R10 system had led the group to expect it to deliver better service to its clients.
“Globus R10 is faster, user-friendly and a definite notch up from our previous version. We, therefore, anticipate greater efficiency and better service delivery to our clients as soon as we complete the whole exercise,” she remarked.
