Power producer project underway

Gentec recently secured the complete turnkey EPC contract for an upcoming Independent Power Producer (IPP) project located in the Isolo industrial zone in Lagos, Nigeria.

p>Gentec recently secured the complete turnkey EPC contract for an upcoming Independent Power Producer (IPP) project located in the Isolo industrial zone in Lagos, Nigeria.

The IPP station is planned for a 17.15MW installed capacity and scheduled for commissioning in Q4, 2010. Gentec is responsible for the complete turnkey EPC contracting for an upcoming IPP project located in the Isolo industrial zone in Lagos, Nigeria. The project, known as Isolo Power Gen Limited, is being jointly promoted by Tower Power Nigeria and Chellarams Plc. The IPP station is planned for a 17.15MW installed capacity and scheduled for commissioning in Q4, 2010. The project will incorporate a waste heat recovery (WHR) system designed to drive a combined cycle steam turbine. Gentec’s expertise and know how in this type of project, backed by a successful track record of implementing such projects, will provide the foundation for the long term success of Isolo Power Gen Ltd.
