South Koreans set to invest in Nigerian housing

South Korean investors have an interest in solar technology and low-cost housing in Nigeria, following a recent fact-finding mission to Ekiti State, according to Daily Trust newspaper.

 The investors are also interested in areas of new town development, the construction and development of schools and hospitals as well the establishment of industrial parks and factories.
Ekiti State Governor Segun Oni encouraged the investors to take advantage of the state's favourable business climate. The South Korean delegation to Ekiti State included Prof Sang Chaun Lee of the Kyaunggnam University; Seong Nam Hong, managing director of SH Heavy Industires; Iman Byun, chief executive officer of Geolin Company Ltd.; and Heungsik Oh of Yungbo Chemical Company.
