p>Arik Air has expanded its regional services with the launch of flights between Abuja and Accra (Ghana), Banjul (Gambia) and Dakar (Senegal).

The new services are Arik Air’s first from Nigeria’s capital, Abuja to points in West Africa. The new services operate twice weekly with four weekly non-stop services between Abuja and Accra and are operated by Boeing 737-700 aircraft, configured to carry 124 passengers with 12 business class seats and 112 economy seats. In addition, Arik Air has launched further regional services between Lagos and Cotonou (Benin) and Dakar (Senegal) including new non-stops services between Lagos and Dakar.

These new services will allow passengers arriving from Dakar and Cotonou to benefit from a choice of onward convenient connections within Nigeria. A Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft, configured to carry 74 passengers with 10 business class seats and 64 economy seats, operates the routes. It is one of the four CRJ900 aircraft in the airline’s fleet.
