NEWS Vantage Capital, Greenpoint funding to boost SolarAfrica Vantage Capital, Africa’s largest mezzanine debt fund manager, is stepping up its involvement in South Africa’s solar energy industry. The finance group announced that it has made a R635mn (US$40mn) investment, alongside co-investor, Greenpoint Capital, into Commercial Energy South Africa (CESA), a subsidiary of SolarAfrica Energy. CESA holds commercial and industrial (C&I) solar and battery energy assets developed by SolarAfrica, a leading South African energy solutions provider. The investment comprises a mezzanine facility which was used to exit Inspired Evolution from CESA. Accra-based Chroma Digital Solutions’ installation of the Canon Colorado M5W wide-format printer has expanded on its capability to deliver premium retail displays, interior decor and high-durability outdoor signage. Speaking of the diversified offerings from the product line, Kwame Owusu-Kwarteng, operation manager from Chroma Digital Solutions, said, “Its UV gel technology produces prints that withstand heat and sunlight, while features like white ink, matte- and-gloss finishes in a single job, and texture printing open new premium applications previously difficult to produce locally.” Ghana’s Chroma Digital expands offerings New funding to boost renewables.
