AfDB to launch African Economic Outlook 2015

The African Development Bank (AfDB) together with the OECD Development Centre and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) will release the African Economic Outlook 2015 report

The report will be launched by Daniel Kablan Duncan, Prime Minister, Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, Steve Kayizzi-Mugerwa, acting chief economist and Vice-President, AfDB Group, Mario Pezzini, director, OECD Development Centre and Ayodele Odusola, chief economist, UNDP Africa.

The paper looks at macroeconomic, finance, trade and human development trends in Africa.

According to the AfDB, the report will be published on the first day of the 50th AfDB Annual Meetings, which is scheduled for the 25-29 May, 2015 in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire.

The 2015 edition of the report will also outline regional development and spatial inclusion, demonstrating how the continent’s demograhics have brought about key challenges and opportunities to Africa.
