Intermodal Africa will return later this month as it looks to highlight opportunities within the continent’s maritime transport industry.

Event organiser Transport Events said the show would provide commercial opportunities for 100 exhibitors and sponsors to network face to face with delegates from across the sector.

Africa’s largest annual container ports and terminal operations exhibition and conference in Africa, which is now in its 12th year, will take place at the International Convention Centre Durban on 23-24 October 2014 and will be accompanied by a full two-day conference programme featuring 35 conference speakers who will address global transportation and logistics issues.

More than 700 delegates will be expected to attend the conference, including harbour masters, harbour and port engineers, maintenance supervisors and procurement decision makers, along with cargo owners, importers/exporters and freight forwarders from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
